Rebecca Weekly


Rebecca leads the organization that influences every aspect of Intel’s cloud platform solutions. Together they shape Intel’s development, production, and business strategy for Hyperscale Cloud Service Providers by driving strategic collaborations with key partners to ensure platform requirements meet customer needs. Rebecca is an Open Compute Project board member and is on Fortune’s 40 Under 40 list of most influential people in technology.In her "spare" time, she is the lead singer of the funk and soul band, Sinister Dexter, and enjoys her passion of dance and choreography. She has two amazing little boys, and loves to run (after them, and on her own).Rebecca graduated from MIT with a degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering.

Xinyun Chen


Xinyun is Ph.D. candidate at UC Berkeley, advised by Prof. Dawn Song. She received her B.S. degree in Computer Science from ACM Honored Class, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She was a research intern at Google Brain, working with Denny Zhou, Rishabh Singh, Petros Maniatis, and Charles Sutton; a research intern at Facebook AI Research (FAIR), working with Yuandong Tian; a research intern at UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Dawn Song; and a visiting student at National Institute of Informatics, working with Prof. Helmut Prendinger. Her research lies at the intersection of deep learning, programming languages, and security. Currently, Xinyun's main focus is on neural program synthesis and adversarial machine learning.

Dr. Philip Heller


Professor Philip Heller is a Computer Science professor at San Jose State University. He currently uses Machine Learning to analyze how climate change in Antarctica is affecting the food web. He works with the Coral Reef Division of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and has also been working with NASA to analyze astronaut health risks due to radiation and microgravity.

Heller received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from UC Berkeley. He also received an M.S. in Computer Science from San Jose State University and a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from UC Santa Cruz.

Giri Iyengar


At Capital One, Giri Iyengar leads the Enterprise Marketing Tech teams as part of Enterprise Products and Platforms Technology Organization. He is responsible for the Capital One Site, Messaging, Content Management, and Experimentation Technology Platforms at Capital One. Prior to Capital One, Giri was the head of Engineering for eBay's Advertising group where he led research and development of several innovative ML driven advertising products for eBay's buyers and sellers. He also created the first ever Computer Vision team at eBay that allows billions of products to be searched using your smartphone pictures. After his PhD from MIT, he started his career as a Machine Learning Researcher at IBM Watson Research Center where he worked on Speech Recognition, Computer Vision and other Machine Learning technologies. 

Sargun Kaur


Sargun Kaur is the CEO and co-founder of Byteboard, a technical interview platform that has redesigned technical interviews to be more reflective of what engineers do on-the-job through a project-based approach. The interview is evaluated anonymously, against structured rubrics to ensure fairness and equity for all. Byteboard has been adopted by Robinhood, Figma, Lyft, Betterment, and many other growing startups. Prior to starting Byteboard, Sargun was a software engineer on the Google Photos team, focusing on building features for the Gallery (home tab) and improving the Photos app experience for users in lower-connectivity areas around the world. She also actively participates in communities that encourage diverse and inclusive products and promote women and POCs in tech. Sargun holds a degree in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and is a Forbes 30 under 30 Honoree Class of 2020. When not coding or busy founding a company, she runs a workout class to help older women in her community exercise!

Erica Lockheimer


Erica Lockheimer has been at LinkedIn since 2010 where she held the role of Sr. Director of Engineering heading the Growth Engineering team for over four years, with her focus on increasing growth in new members and deepening engagement with members across LinkedIn's products.  She started the Growth Team from the ground up to now a high performing 120-person team.  In 2018, she moved on to her next play at LinkedIn and is now the VP of Engineering for the LinkedIn Learning team, formerly known as Lynda.com.  In 2021, she took on the role of running LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions/Careers team that connects our members to career opportunities and helps recruiters find the best candidates for their companies.  She is also responsible for LinkedIn's Women In Tech (WIT) initiative that is focused on empowering women in technical roles within the company.  Prior to LinkedIn, she worked at Good Technology as Director of Server Engineering to securely manage and synchronize e-mail and calendar data between Exchange and mobile devices.  She loves the challenge of starting with something nascent and carving out the right strategy, hiring the best people, and plotting a course to drive results.  In 2014 and 2015, Erica was voted amongst the top 22 women engineers in the world by Business Insider.  Erica is a San Francisco Bay Area native, has 2 kids, loves to run and is a graduate from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.

Dr. Sanjoy Paul


Dr. Sanjoy Paul, recognized in the industry as an innovator, disruptive entrepreneur, and an authority in Networking, AI and IoT, has a proven track record of converting new technology ideas into successful businesses multiple times during his 25+ year career. He has led Technology, Strategy, Innovation, R&D, Product Development, and Product Management for Fortune 500 companies and startups in the United States and India in 6 different industries. Dr. Paul has held senior executive positions in Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, Lucent Technologies, and AT&T Bell Labs, worked as CTO in 3 venture-backed start-ups funded by VCs like Battery Ventures, Chase Capital, Venrock Capital, and founded two companies – one in AdTech and the other in EdTech. He is now a Managing Director at Accenture, ex-CEO of Almawiz – a startup transforming digital contact center using conversational AI and deep learning, and a faculty in the Computer Science Departments of San Jose State University and Rice University. Dr. Paul is a Fellow of the IEEE, ex-Editor of IEEE Transactions on Networking, author of 2 books published by Wiley and Kluwer Academic, author of 200+ publications in peer-reviewed conferences, magazines, and journals, and is a regular invited speaker in the universities, technology forums and industry panels. He has received multiple awards including the Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award, MIT Technology Reviews’ Grand Challenges Award, Schwarzkopf Prize for Technology Innovation, William R. Bennet Award from the IEEE for the best original paper in IEEE Transactions on Networking, and Distinguished Alumnus Award from IIT Kharagpur.Dr. Paul holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from IIT Kharagpur, an M.S and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA from the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.  

Vi Tran


Vi Tran is a sophomore pursuing Computer Science and Economics at Dartmouth College. As an entrepreneur whose interests lie in the intersection of technology and social impact, she seeks to make a difference in her community and globally. She cofounded Fineance, a financial management tool for college students, that is expected to replace Dartmouth's current financial management system, impacting 6000+ students after its first launch. She was awarded the Women in Science Project Research Scholarship and the Kaminsky Undergraduate Research Award for this project. Currently, Vi is working as a cofounder/CTO of Vitalize, a startup that's building the first mobile wellness app tailored to the lived experiences of healthcare providers. Besides her work in entrepreneurship, Vi is a software engineer at DALI Lab, developing another healthcare application. During her free time, she enjoys discovering new music, and playing board games with her friends.
